I went to the Institut Francais in South Kensington yesterday to see a Fashion Presentation of The Old Ladies Rebellion's latest collection.  The clothes were beautiful and it's worth taking a look at her website where she now has a 'ready to wear' range: http://www.oldladiesrebellion.com/  The French designer, Fanny Karst, was inspired to make clothes for mature women by her stylish Grandmother who kept getting more chic the older she became.

"The Institut français, a Grade ll listed art deco building, was designed by French architect Patrice Bonnet and inaugurated in 1939. Its intricately decorated façade and monumental proportions give the building a strong presence in the architectural environment. The interior is as impressive as the exterior: a sweeping marble staircase, decorated with the famous Rodin statue L'Age d'Airain and an original tapestry by Sonia Delaunay, leads from a large ground-floor foyer area to a beautiful listed library and a stunning state-of-the-art cinema on the first floor." www.institut-francais.org.uk
